Who is responsible
The controller is the independent operator of Gradiqo, based in Malta. Contact: support@gradiqo.com.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, an optional name, a password hash and your language choice. Practice data: the essays you submit, their length and duration, and the feedback produced. Purchase data: what you bought and when; card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
Why we use it
To run your account and produce feedback (performance of our contract with you), to keep records of purchases (legal obligation), and to protect the service against abuse (legitimate interest). We do not sell your data and we do not use your essays to train AI models.
Processors
Vercel (hosting, EU region), Neon (database, EU region), Stripe (payments, as merchant of record), CampaignOS (sign-in and transactional email) and, when the AI grader is enabled, Anthropic (the language model that reads your essay to produce feedback; it does not use API inputs for training).
How long we keep it
Essays and results are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Deleting your account removes them immediately. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing and complain to a supervisory authority (in Malta, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner). Write to support@gradiqo.com.
Cookies
We use only necessary storage: your language choice and, in the app, your sign-in session. No advertising cookies.
